———————

After the success of the 5th International Conference of Soft Computing and Pattern Recognition (SoCPaR 2013), SoCPaR 2014 is organized to bring together worldwide leading researchers and practitioners interested in advancing the state of the art in Soft Computing and Pattern Recognition, for exchanging knowledge that encompasses a broad range of disciplines among various distinct communities. It is hoped that researchers and practitioners will bring new prospects for collaboration across disciplines and gain inspiration to facilitate novel breakthroughs. The themes for this conference are thus focused on “Innovating and Inspiring Soft Computing and Intelligent Pattern Recognition”.

The conference is expected to provide an opportunity for the researchers to meet and discuss the latest solutions, scientific results and methods in solving intriguing problems in the fields of soft Computing and Pattern Recognition. The conference programme will include workshops, special sessions and tutorials, along with prominent keynote speakers and regular paper presentations in parallel tracks. Like previous years, we expect the SoCPaR 2014 proceedings to be published by IEEE subject to fulfilling of all quality requirements of IEEE. The General Chairs, along with the entire team cordially invite you to submit your latest research results in the fields of Soft Computing and Intelligent Pattern Recognition, and to take part in the upcoming conference, to be held on August 11-14 in Ramada Plaza Tunis Hotel, Tunisia.

Like previous editions, all accepted papers presented at SoCPaR2014 will be selected and recommended for possible publication in Journal Special Issues and Edited Volumes (indexed by SCI, EI Compendex, etc.).

Author Guidelines:
———————————————
Submission of paper should be made through the submission link:
http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=socpar2014

All submissions should be in the IEEE 8.5 two-column format. The page
limit for a full-length paper is 6 pages. Short papers describing
novel research visions, work-in-progress or less mature results are
also welcome, with the limit of 4 pages. Please refer to the
conference website for guidelines to prepare your manuscript.

All accepted papers will be compiled in conference proceedings
published by the IEEE. It is mandatory at least an author registers
for every paper that is included in the conference proceedings.
Proceedings will be made available during the conference. Accepted
papers must be presented by author(s) personally to be published in
the conference proceedings.

Expanded versions of SoCPaR 2014 selected papers will be published in
special issues of internationally referred journals (indexed by SCI)
and edited volumes.
