Call for Papers
IJCRS is the prime international conference sponsored by the International Rough Set Society (IRSS).
IJCRS 2016 encapsulates four main tracks which refer to major threads of rough set conferences held so far:
– Rough Sets & Data Science (in relation to RSCTC series organized since 1998)
– Rough Sets & Granular Computing (in relation to RSFDGrC series organized since 1999)
– Rough Sets & Knowledge Technology (in relation to RSKT series organized since 2006)
– Rough Sets & Intelligent Systems (in relation to RSEISP series organized since 2007)
Scope.
The main objective of IJCRS is to bring together:
– People working in various fields related to theoretical foundations and practical applications of rough sets
– People working in other fields, wishing to discuss their results and experiences with rough set community
– People dealing with real-world problems, wishing to share their specifics and look for new inspirations

Publication.
10-page long papers accepted in either of the above rounds will be published in Springer LNCS series.

Venue.
Most of sessions will take place at UCN in Antofagasta – a region capital located by the Pacific Ocean, 1,364 km north of Santiago de Chile. Antofagasta is the world-class leader in astronomy and mining. In particular, we plan to visit one of the largest observatories at the Southern Hemisphere and one of the largest open pit mines in the world. A part of the conference will be held at UCN facilities in San Pedro de Atacama – one of top touristic places in Chile.
