Case Studies and Methodologies: stCSM 2018

Please consider contributing to the Special Track on Case Studies and Methodologies: stCSM 2018 (http://www.iiis-info2018.org/stcsm-s), to be held on July 8 – 11, 2018, in Orlando, Florida, USA, which final papers (after presenting at the event) will be reviewed for their publication in a special issue of the Journal of Systemics, Cybernetics, and Informatics, with no additional cost to the authors.

The deadlines, for this specific call for paper, are the following:

  • March 1st, 2018: Submissions of abstracts (200-400 words). Please, make your submission attached to an email sent to stCSM (at) iiis.org.
  • March 7th, 2018: Notifications of abstract acceptance.
  • March 28th, 2018: Submission of full draft paper (2000-5000 words) via the conference web site.
  • May 9th, 2018: Notifications of full draft paper acceptance.
  • June 5th, 2018: Submission of camera-ready of final versions of the accepted papers.
  • December 31st, 2018, or before: Publication of the Journal's Special Issue. Adaptations and potential extensions would be made after the conference and, consequently, additional editing processes will be made through the Editorial Board of the Special Issue.

Publications:

  • stCSM 2018 will be held in the context of the 12th International Multi-Conference on Society, Cybernetics and Informatics: IMSCI 2018, to be held on July 8 – 11, 2018, in Orlando, Florida, USA, so the final versions of all the accepted and presented papers (face-to-face or virtual) will be published in the IMSCI 2018 proceedings, which have been indexed by Elsevier's SCOPUS since 2007. The 2018 proceedings will also be sent to Elsevier's SCOPUS.
  • A special issue of the Journal of Systemics, Cybernetics, and Informatics (JSCI) will be published on Case Studies and Methodologies, if an adequate number of articles are submitted, accepted and, consequently, presented at the conference. Otherwise, the best 25%-30% of the papers will be published in the Journal of Systemics, Cybernetics, and Informatics (JSCI). Sessions' best papers (selected by the respective session's audience) are among these best papers and others will be selected from the averages of the quantitative evaluations of the full paper reviewers. The Journal is indexed by several organizations, including DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), Cabell, EBSCO, etc. We provide DOAJ with the metadata required for its further indexation. DOAJ affirms that "Many aggregators, databases, libraries, publishers and search portals collect our free metadata and include it in their products. Examples are Scopus, Serial Solutions and EBSCO."

Due 1) to the fact that Case Studies are based on a trans-disciplinary methodology, and 2) to the multi- e interdisciplinary research and communication purpose of the conference, then a case study might be submitted on any of the topics the areas/topics listed below and to any other topic of the collocated events, which are listed in the general call for papers which URL is given below:
