IPMU Special Session on Fuzzy Logic, Formal Concept Analysis and Rough Sets

CALL FOR PAPERS

Special Session on

Fuzzy Logic, Formal Concept Analysis and Rough Sets
Organizers: Jesús Medina, Manuel Ojeda-Aciego

Fuzzy Logic, Formal Concept Analysis and  Rough Sets Theory are three important tools to extract and handle information from databases. Another interesting property of these frameworks is to formulate predictions.
The purpose of this Special Session is to study advances and  interactions among these important tools.
This is a Special Session at IPMU 2014, which will be held in Montpellier (France) on July 15-19, 2014.
In the last editions, the conference proceedings were published by Springer-Verlag (LNAI/CCIS series).
The not exhaustive list of topics includes:
-fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic
-Rough sets
-fuzzy rough sets
-interval-valued fuzzy sets
-formal concept analysis
Important Dates
– December 9, 2013: Submission of papers
– February  24, 2014: Notification of acceptance
– March 31, 2014: Submission of camera-ready versions of accepted papers
