The FP7 EMERALD project is organizing a full-day workshop on Emerging Technologies in Green Transport, to be held in conjunction with the 19th International Conference on Circuits, Systems, Communications and Computers (CSCC 2015), www.cscc.co, in Zakynthos island, Greece on July 16-20, 2015.
Topics
In our days, the transportation sector accounts for around a quarter of EU greenhouse gas emissions, making it the second biggest greenhouse gas-emitting sector after energy. For this reason, fuel economy and environmental sustainability are currently under the spotlight of research in the area of Intelligent Transport Systems and Electromobility. This workshop aims to host interesting papers and presentations on novel approaches, innovative architectures and promising research outcomes in the area of Intelligent and Sustainable Transport Systems.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Methods for calculating and reducing emissions
- Traffic management based on energy criteria
- Multimodal Route Planning
- Ecological Driver Assistance Systems
- Evolution and potential of Fully Electric Vehicles
- Energy conversion efficiency
- Algorithms approaches for energy efficient route management
- Driver profiling
- Electromobility and smart cities
- V2X communications
- Hybrid Vehicles
- Vehicle propulsion electrification
- Vehicle recharging policy optimization
- Electric vehicle simulators
- Vehicle consumption and emission modeling
- Battery management and technologies
- Vehicle recharging techniques
