Let me kindly inform you that the 8th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence (ICAART 2016 – http://www.icaart.org/) steering committee cordially invites you to submit a paper to the ICAART 2016 Conference, to be held in Rome, Italy. The deadline for paper submission is scheduled for September 10, 2015.
The purpose of the International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in the theory and applications in the areas of Agents and Artificial Intelligence. Two simultaneous related tracks will be held, covering both applications and current research work. One track focuses on Agents, Multi-Agent Systems and Software Platforms, Agile Management, Distributed Problem Solving and Distributed AI in general. The other track focuses mainly on Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Representation, Planning, Learning, Scheduling, Perception, Data Mining, Data Science, Reactive AI Systems, and Evolutionary Computing and other topics related to Intelligent Systems and Computational Intelligence.
We would like to highlight the presence of the following keynote speakers:
– Katia Sycara, Carnegie Mellon University, United States
– Tom Heskes, Radboud University Nijmegen, Netherlands
– Jerome Lang, Universite Paris-Dauphine, France
– Jaime Sichman, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil
– Eric Postma, Tilburg University , Netherlands
ICAART is interested in promoting high quality research as it can be confirmed by last year acceptance rates, where from 187 submissions, 19% were presented as full papers.
Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support.
It is planned to publish a short list of revised and extended versions of presented papers with Springer in a LNAI Series book (final approval pending).
The proceedings will be submitted for indexation by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI), INSPEC, DBLP, EI (Elsevier Index) and Scopus.
All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library (http://www.scitepress.org/ DigitalLibrary/). SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef (http://www.crossref.org/).
Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference closing session. Please check the website for further information (http://www.icaart.org// BestPaperAward.aspx).
Workshops, Special sessions, Tutorials as well as Demonstrations dedicated to other technical/scientific topics are also envisaged: companies interested in presenting their products/methodologies or researchers interested in holding a tutorial are invited to contact the conference secretariat. Workshop chairs and Special Session chairs will benefit from logistics support and other types of support, including secretariat and financial support, to facilitate the development of a valid idea.
ICAART 2016 will be held in conjunction with ICPRAM 2016 (http://www.icpram.org/) and ICORES 2016 (http://www.icores.org/)in Rome, Italy. Registration to ICAART will enable free attendance to any sessions of ICPRAM and ICORES conferences as a non-speaker.
We hope to welcome you in Rome, Italy next February, 2016!
