Joint 8th International Conference on Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems and 17th

International Symposium on Advanced Intelligent Systems (SCIS&ISIS 2016) will be held

on August 25-28, 2016 at Hokkai-Gakuen University, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.

SCIS&ISIS conference is sponsored by Japan Society for Fuzzy Theory and Intelligent

Informatics (SOFT) and is held once every two years. The last conference has received

technical co-sponsorship from NAFIPS.

The topics of the conference include (but are not limited to):

Artificial Intelligence, Bio-inspire Model, Computational Intelligence, Data Mining, Decision

Making, Distributed Systems, Fuzzy Control, Fuzzy Sets and Logic, Fuzzy Systems,

Intelligent Systems, Kansei Engineering, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Robotics,

Rough Sets, Semantic Web, Social Systems, Web Intelligence and Interaction

Important dates of the conference are:

Organized session proposal: December 15, 2015, Paper submission: February 15, 2016,

Notification of acceptance: May 1, 2016, and Conference: August 25-28, 2016.
