IEEE ARGENCON 2016
The third edition for the Biennial congress of IEEE Argentina will
be held for the first time with video games as one of its tracks.
Buenos Aires. December 11th, 2015 – IEEE ARGENCON 2016 will be held during 15th to 17th June in Buenos Aires city. This will be the first edition to include video games and gamification as one of its fields of interests. Ir will be at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional
university and will have many Lectures and presentations of the art.The video games industry produces revenues over 92.000 millions of dollars per year, being increased at this moment and offering many commercial, social and cultural
opportunities. Among other issues that affect the field, it can be considered those related to the academic status, standard developments and best practices involved in the production. Those are currently most of them a factual agreement between relevant professionals and
researchers in the area.VGGE –the ad-hoc video games international society– is pleased to invite you to be part of IEEE ARGENCON 2016 (sites.ieee.org/argencon) as an author of short papers, full papers or technological reports. All the submitted material will be promoted internationally by IEEE Argentina (ieee.org.ar), one of the most prestigious societies in the world, making it possible to perform a broad interchange for intellectual, business and contacts worldwide. ].In this edition, VGGE will present a study about career plans for VG and gamifications, with a panel of experts from many international entities. The goal is to analyze and make public some remarks of interest to agree and leverage the academic results considering
scientific, technical and practical concerns.
We invite you to participate also in this open panel to contribute to the development of
better careers and a common basement for a worldwide quality at every instance.At the same time, VGGE will organize stands, lectures, conferences, and activities related
