Chapters will be published in the book Smart Governance for Smart Cities: Perspectives and Experiences
Introduction
We are assisting a worldwide fierce fight against the sustainability challenges raised by the rapid urbanization. Within their countries, cities are addressing those unprecedented challenges with smart governance models, a new governance paradigm seen as a capable approach able to overcome social, economic and environmental substantiality problems.
This book provides theoretical perspectives and practical experiences on smart governance for smart cities. It makes a perfect linkage between research, policies and practices on this area.

How to Submit
The proposals need to be formatted according the Springer Instructions and submitted in Word format by e-mail to lopes@unu.edu. The proposals should not exceed the 50 pages and should contain:
