History and thematic range
The conference is devoted to non-classical logics: modal, many-valued, temporal, paraconsistent, epistemic, deontic, substructural, and nonmonotonic logic, and their applications in computer science, artificial intelligence, formal linguistics, cognitive studies, as well as the deeper analysis of traditional philosophical problems.
The conference is organized by Departament of Logic and Methodology of Sciences of Lodz University and Department of Logic of Nicolaus Copernicus University. The first, second, fourth, sixth and eighth editions of Conference were organized in Lodz. The third, fifth and seventh editions was organized by Department of Logic at NCU in Toruń.
This is the ninth edition, under the title:
"The origins of philosophical logic:
70 years of Jaśkowski's and Łoś' contributions".
We will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of the journal Logic and Logical Philosophy published by the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and edited by the Department of Logic.

Submissions to the conference should be made via easychair.org at the following address:

We prefer latex source + pdf submissions, but other formats (e.g.
doc or pdf itself) are also accepted. Submissions should not exceed the capacity of two pages LaTeX standard format text.

Conference Venue
The conference venue is located in the vicinity of the Old Town of
Torun at "Fosa Staromiejska 1A" Street in the Faculty of Humanities
building.

Conference Fee
Conference fee: 150 Euro
Fee includes includes conference materials, coffee breaks and the conference
dinner. The fee does not include accommodation.

Accommodation
There are a lot of hotels in the area of Old Town of
Torun and around. However, as Torun attracts more and more
tourist we advise you to book a room as early as possible.
In case you opted for cheaper accommodation we can recommend
the University Hotel (contact <hotel.umk@umk.pl>). It is located
some 30 minutes walk from the conference venue and there are frequent
bus connections from there as well. While contacting the hotel please
mention "Conference on Non-Classical Logic". Please be aware
that the number of rooms in the hotel is limited.
