the ICIAM congresses are a big event in the community of applied and industrial mathematics and it takes place every 4 years, and it gathers 2000-3000 people each time. Some times even more. In these congresses there are invited talks, but also a lot of mini-symposia, proposed by people in the community, and selected by an ad-hoc committee.
The next congress will take place in Valencia (Spain) on 15-19 July 2019.
I think that you will agree with me that it would be great if many women participate in the congress, and give talks Also it would be great if many women organize mini-symposia. And this is why I am asking you to advertise well (even via a dedicated message to all your members) the announcement below.
