Notice related to COVID-19 Coronavirus (02-04-2020)

The Euromicro DSD’2020 Conference Organizing Committee extends its empathy to all people impacted by COVID-19 Coronavirus worldwide. With the best hope that the situation will normalize in the following months, the Conference is planned to be held as scheduled, i.e. in Portorož, Slovenia, 26th – 28th of August 2020. As the safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority, we will continue to monitor official advisories related to the COVID-19 Coronavirus and update the Conference website to keep you informed about eventual changes related to the Conference and its form.

All papers that will be accepted after the Conference review process will be published in the Proceedings of the DSD’2020 Conference, regardless of the authors' physical presence at the Conference in case of any travel restrictions. In case of inability to be physically present at the DSD’2020 Conference due to travel restrictions, the DSD’2020 paper authors will be offered a reduced conference registration fee and will be allowed to remotely present their papers. All papers highly evaluated by the DSD’2020 reviewers will be invited in their extended journal versions for the Special Issues of the ISI indexed Euromicro/Elsevier journal “Microprocessors and Microsystems: Embedded Hardware Design” (MICPRO) having the 2018 Impact Factor as high as 1.045.

Scope

The Euromicro Conference on Digital System Design (DSD) addresses all aspects of (embedded, pervasive and high-performance) digital and mixed HW/SW system engineering, covering the whole design trajectory from specification down to micro-architectures, digital circuits and VLSI implementations. It is a forum for researchers and engineers from academia and industry working on advanced investigations, developments and applications.

Authors are kindly invited to submit their work according (but not limited) to the main topics of the conference main track. In addition, several Special Sessions (with their own coordinators and subprogram committees) do also welcome contributions in specific themes of particular interest. All papers are reviewed following guidelines, quality requirements and thresholds that are common to all committees.

Extended versions of selected best papers will be published in a special issue of the ISI indexed Euromicro/Elsevier journal “Microprocessors and Microsystems: Embedded Hardware Design” (MICPRO) having the 2018 Impact Factor as high as 1.045.
