Germund Dahlquist Prize
The Germund Dahlquist Prize is awarded every two years to one individual for original contributions to numerical solution of differential equations and numerical methods for scientific computing. The prize will be awarded at the International Conference on Scientific Computation and Differential Equations (SciCADE) 2021 in Reykjavík, Iceland. Learn more about the submission and eligibility requirements for this prize.
George Pólya Prize for Mathematical Exposition
The George Pólya Prize for Mathematical Exposition is awarded every two years to an outstanding expositor of the mathematical sciences. The prize may be awarded for a specific work or for the cumulative impact of multiple expository works that communicate mathematics effectively. The work may range from popular accounts of mathematics and mathematical discovery to pedagogy to systematic organization of mathematical knowledge. The prize will be awarded at the 2021 SIAM Annual Meeting in Spokane, Washington. Learn more about the submission and eligibility requirements for this prize.
