Patterns editors are inviting researchers at all career stages to propose engaging data science topics for the journal’s special collections. Similar to special issues in other journals, Patterns special collections bring together articles related to a central theme. The main difference is that these collections incorporate rolling submissions, so the individual articles may be associated with different journal issues.
