CXP-12 is the latest CoaXPress standard, now transmitting video at 12.5 Gb/s. While the speed of data through the frame grabber has doubled, the overall architecture has remained the same as the previous generation Cyton. The Claxon CXP1 is a single link CXP-12 PCIe Gen 2 frame grabber.

The Corrosion Inspector scans a standardized test panel and delivers a very high-contrast image with a resolution of 0.022 mm per pixel in only 1.2 sec (5s including all procedures and storage). Implemented evaluation methods (acc. to international standards): Cross-cut classification, edge corrosion characteristic, filiform corrosion with counting/length measurement of threads, degree of delamination and corrosion, Blistering, Stone impact resistance.
