Special Session on Uncertainty Handling in Distributed Artificial Intelligence and Complex Swarm Systems

Scope and Aims:
Handling Uncertainty is a challenging problem, particularly in distributed systems. In such systems, the increase in the number of systems will lead to an exponentially increasing amount of interactions. The situations become harder if the swarm systems are also human-centered. Hence, controlling and decision-making need distributed intelligent strategies. This special session focuses on the current research trends in the areas of theory and implementation of such systems with a special focus on the role of fuzzy systems, swarm intelligence, neural networks, intelligent and cognitive paradigms for dealing with imprecision and uncertainty; decision making and control; fusing information from multiple sources; maintaining robustness and resiliency; forming swarm coordination, collaboration, and cooperation; human-swarm interaction; nano/macro swarm systems; swarm medical intelligence and well-being and finally, representing and interpreting layers of information and knowledge. It also has a wide range of real applications e.g. in Engineering, Physics, Medicine, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Cosmology, Agriculture, Geology, Sociology, Literature, and Art.
This special session will highlight the latest development in this rapidly growing research area of Uncertainty Handling in Distributed Artificial Intelligence and Complex Swarm Systems. Authors are invited to submit their original and unpublished work.

Please specify that your paper is for the Special Session on Uncertainty Handling in Distributed Artificial Intelligence and Complex Swarm Systems. All papers accepted and presented at FUZZ-IEEE2023 will be included in the conference proceedings published by IEEE Explore.
