Our workshop focuses on designing these agents to be not only functionally complex and useful but also understandable and socially appropriate. Drawing inspiration from human-human interactions, we seek to develop generative models and evaluation methods for socially appropriate non-verbal behaviours, taking into account cultural and personal factors.
