
We are excited to announce the first Optical Flow Challenge, which will take place during the upcoming IJCB2025 and focuses on advancing biometric technologies through innovative optical flow methods.
Challenge Objective:
Develop state-of-the-art optical flow estimation techniques applied to gait recognition, using the new, comprehensive OUMVLP-OF dataset.
Challenge Tracks:

Track 1: Gait Identification – recognizing individuals based on their unique walking patterns.

Track 2: Gait Verification – confirming identity by analyzing and matching gait sequences.

Launch: March 5, 2025

Registration deadline: March 30, 2025

Submission deadline: May 30, 2025

Results announcement: June 10, 2025
