Challenge: Exploring Dense Optical Flow for Gait Recognition
We are excited to announce the first Optical Flow Challenge, which will take place during the upcoming IJCB2025 and focuses on advancing biometric technologies through innovative optical flow methods.
Challenge Objective:Develop state-of-the-art optical flow estimation techniques applied to gait recognition, using the new, comprehensive OUMVLP-OF dataset.
Challenge Tracks:
Track 1: Gait Identification – recognizing individuals based on their unique walking patterns.
Track 2: Gait Verification – confirming identity by analyzing and matching gait sequences.
Important Dates
Launch: March 5, 2025
Registration deadline: March 30, 2025
Submission deadline: May 30, 2025
Results announcement: June 10, 2025
