We are pleased to organize the 3rd latent fingerprint recognition competition at IEEE/IAPR International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB 2026) this year. It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the competition. Please find below useful information about the competition and feel free to reach us out if you have any questions. Any queries including registration can be sent to: xinwei_liu@zwu.edu.cn and looking forward to hearing from you.
Competition description:
It is necessary to establish a latent fingerprint comparison competition that evaluates comparison algorithms on a new large-scale latent fingerprint in the wild database (LFIW [1] dataset) to meet the need for robust latent fingerprint recognition algorithm development and evaluation. For the 3nd edition of Latent in the Wild fingerprint recognition competition 2026, there are TWO tracks to participate:
Track1: latent fingerprint recognition (including the comparison of fingerphoto vs. latent fingerprint)
Track2: latent fingerprint quality assessment
Participants can choose either of the two tracks or take part in BOTH tracks!
