MUSTCV 2026: 5th Workshop on Computer Vision for Multimedia Spatial Intelligence through Time (at ECCV 2026)

========================================================================
CALL FOR PAPERS: MUSTCV 2026
The 5th Workshop on Computer Vision for Multimedia Spatial Intelligence through Time
(Formerly CV4Metaverse)
Co-located with ECCV 2026 | Malmö, Sweden 🇸🇪
Workshop Date: September 8 or 9, 2026
========================================================================
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite submissions to the 5th edition of the MUSTCV Workshop
(formerly CV4Metaverse), held in conjunction with the 19th European Conference
on Computer Vision (ECCV 2026) in Malmö, Sweden.
MUSTCV 2026 explores the critical mechanics of spatial and dynamic computing.
Our focus centers on bridging 3D spatial intelligence, cross-modal multimedia
generation, and temporal dynamicity (4D tracking/reconstruction) to advance the next
generation of immersive technologies, spatial computing, and AI-driven simulation.
*** TOPICS OF INTEREST ***
We welcome original, high-quality contributions covering theoretical frameworks,
novel machine learning applications, and new datasets/benchmarks across 3D/4D domains,
touching upon, but not confined to:
– Spatial and Dynamic Scene Understanding (Continuous interaction, 3D/4D reconstruction,
  depth estimation, spatio-temporal tracking).
– Cross-Modal 3D/4D Generation and Synthesis (Text-to-3D/4D, audio-driven motion,
editing/manipulating spatial scenes using foundation models).
– Immersive Applications and Datasets (ML for AR/VR, digital twins, interactive multimedia,
  and benchmarking evolving environments).
*** SUBMISSION TRACKS ***
To accommodate both mature research and late-breaking, work-in-progress findings,
MUSTCV 2026 features two distinct publication pathways:
1. ARCHIVAL TRACK (Full Papers): Original, complete research papers (up to 14 pages
excluding references, ECCV LNCS format). Accepted papers will be officially
published in the ECCV 2026 Workshop Proceedings.

2. NON-ARCHIVAL TRACK (Extended Abstracts): Shorter manuscripts (typically 2-4 pages)
presenting work-in-progress, recent arXiv uploads, or preliminary benchmarks.
These will be presented at the workshop but will NOT conflict with future
   conference/journal submissions.
*** KEY EVENTS & FORMAT ***
– Keynote talks from leading academic and industrial vision experts.
– Selected Oral Presentations for top-tier submissions.
– Interactive Poster Session for all accepted works.
*** IMPORTANT DATES ***
– Paper Submission Deadline: July 7, 2026
– Author Notification: July 23, 2026
– Camera-Ready Deadline: August 7, 2026
All deadlines at 11:59 PM UTC-12 / Any Time on Earth time
