Daniela Lopez de Luise The IEEE International Conference on LLM-Aided Design (ICLAD) invites applications for the 2026 LAD Fellowship, a fellowship supporting outstanding graduate students conducting innovative research at the intersection of AI, automation, and systems.
Each LAD Fellowship provides a $10,000 cash award, paid directly to the selected student. Fellows will participate in the following year’s LAD Conference and present their research progress in a poster session. A portion of the award is expected to support travel and participation in the conference.
Applicants must be:
- Full-time graduate students
- Conducting research relevant to LLM-Aided Design and design automation
- At least one year away from graduation at the time of application
Applicants should submit:
- A 3-page research proposal describing a one-year research project
- Curriculum vitae (CV) highlighting academic achievements, publications, and relevant experience
- Two letters of recommendation, including one from the applicant’s primary research advisor
