EAI is proud to announce that ArtsIT is going virtual and beyond borders.
Get the same full publication and indexing, enjoy EAI’s fair evaluation and recognition, present your paper to a global audience, and experience virtual meetings live as well as on-demand from the safety and comfort of your home.
ArtsIT 2020 will take place online due to safety concerns and travel restrictions caused by COVID-19. Although we will miss having everyone meet and connect in person, we feel strongly that knowledge exchange must continue, if not more so. That is why we have equipped our online conferences with live viewing with chat, virtual Q&A, and a multitude of other measures to provide you with a great experience. All of this while making the registration for co-authors and non-authors completely free to give you the biggest possible audience. You can learn more about EAI’s online conferences here.

The conference brings together people from across various art forms with a keen interest in modern IT technologies. The addition of Interactivity and Game Creation in the title of the event since 2016 reflects the recognition of art in these fields and the growing industries, academic, and public interest. The event also reflects the advances seen in wide adoption of Virtual, Augmented and Mixed reality technologies and authors are encouraged to submit from these fields.
ArtsIT has been successfully co-located with the international conference on Design, Learning and Innovation (DLI) since 2016.
We are pleased to invite you to submit your paper to ArtsIT 2020. Submissions should be in English, following the Springer formatting guidelines (see Submission).

Intelligence and Creativity in Healthcare, Wellbeing and Aging
This track is entirely in line with the ArtsIT & DLI conferences exploration concerning the future of design research and design education. Beyond merely focusing on the speed of calculation, the smartness of machines, and the seamless connection between humans and machines, what is the implication of such intelligence to us? This track concerns the health implications in the current and near-future society (e.g. contamination, food, water, resources, unbalanced economy, virtual community, AI symbiotic society). When culture and humankind face a deadly health threat, such as the recent Novel Coronavirus, can we have a better way to engage with such ‘intelligence’? What would be a ‘plan B’. (Learn more here)
