David A. Kenny’s Mediation Analysis: Nearly 100 Years of Progress

In May, Statistical Horizons launched its Distinguished Speaker Series, a series of 3-hour virtual seminars taught by some of the most prominent and innovative scholars in the field. On Wednesday, September 20th, Professor David A. Kenny will present Mediation Analysis: Nearly 100 Years of Progress.
Join Professor Kenny for a thought-provoking discussion of linear models of mediation. He'll review the basics before diving into a historical review of the progression of mediation over the last nearly 100 years, with an emphasis on the causal assumptions of mediation. Additional topics include dealing with confounding and measurement errors, the power of the indirect effect, and compelling examples of mediation successes.

This livestream seminar will be held via Zoom from 12pm-3pm ET, but you can also join asynchronously by viewing the recorded video.
