CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Competitions and Tutorials

Submission Deadline: November 30, 2026

Submit a Competition Proposal

Propose a challenging, accessible, reproducible, fair, and community-relevant competition addressing a timely scientific, engineering, or societal problem.

Topics may include trustworthy and interpretable AI, robustness and fairness, autonomous agents, multimodal and graph learning, scientific AI, healthcare, climate, privacy-preserving learning, and other emerging areas within the scope of IJCNN.

Proposals should create meaningful benchmarks with value beyond the conference and include clear plans for datasets, evaluation, accessibility, reproducibility, ethics, and long-term community impact.

Submit a Tutorial Proposal

Share your expertise with the IJCNN community by proposing a focused 2- or 4-hour tutorial on an innovative or emerging topic in neural networks and related fields.

Proposals should demonstrate the significance, timeliness, novelty, and relevance of the topic and include presenter information, an outline and description of the tutorial, previous tutorial experience, and key references.

All tutorials will take place Monday, June 14, 2027, and must be presented in person.

IJCNN 2027 will take place from June 14 – 18, 2027 in Cape Town, South Africa.
