Trusted Media Challenge launched

I'm happy to announce the official launch of AI Singapore's Trusted
Media Challenge. It provides a dataset and platform for the best AI
models from around the world to compete in the detection of fake media
content. The challenge proper will run until 15 December 2021. Up to SGD
700,000 (about USD 1/2 million) in prize monies will be distributed to
the winners of the competition. Please see

Data grows voluminously and exponentially with heterogeneity and
complexity. A single organization or industry processes more than few
million transactions hourly and stores several petabytes of data. We
live in a world of tremendous pressure to analyze and process data more
efficiently where the
Data analytics are able to reflect hidden patterns, incomprehensible
relationships, intrinsic information relations, and segmentation. The
data applications have introduced cutting-edge possibilities in every
activity in our life. Thus, the study of data and its underlying
structure, dynamics of data relations, and newer data technologies are a
never-ending process. The literature and research on data management are
enormous, still, they sufficiently do not solve the data processing
requirements.

Currently, the use of technology and interrelations among information
pieces generate gargantuan amounts of data. Many studies tend to develop
models and systems to analyse the voluminous datasets. Analysing the
impact of data leads to application domains on various decisions that
have a systematic influence. Knowledge generated from the data analysis
can enable the production of critical information for several domains.

Hence this conference reviews and discusses, the recent trends,
opportunities, and pitfalls of data management and how it has impacted
organizations to create successful business and technology strategies
and remain updated in data technology. This conference also highlights

About the Workshop
The ICCV 2021 workshop on Computational Challenges in Digital Pathology (CDpath) aims at providing a platform for scientific discussion and presentation of ideas on computational pathology, introducing the challenges of the field. This workshop will focus on the integration of computer vision and artificial intelligence into the digital pathology workflow. 

CDpath is jointly organised by INESCTEC (Portugal), IMP DIagnostics (Portugal), Radboudumc (The Netherlands), Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) and Google Health (USA).

Submitted manuscripts should be anonymised and formatted according to the ICCV style, with a maximum of 8 pages, including images and tables and excluding cited references.

The best paper(s) will be awarded with a monetary prize (T.B.D).

MICCAI 2021 Sixth Educational Challenge — deadline July 26

Dear All, 

The MICCAI Educational Challenge will be held for the sixth time, leading up to and concluding at MICCAI 2021 in Strasbourg, France. The goal of the challenge is to encourage members of the MICCAI community to create and share educational materials, covering fundamental concepts in medical image computing and computer-assisted interventions. The first prize winner of the MICCAI Educational Challenge will receive a prize of $500, sponsored by the MICCAI society, and an interview with a well-known professor published on YouTube to promote their research. Pending sufficient submissions, a second and third place prize will also be awarded. The winner(s) will be decided by popular vote and announced at MICCAI 2021. Tutorials may be formatted as videos, papers, presentations, IPython Notebooks, GitHub sources and documentation, or blog posts.

  • What formats are acceptable? You can submit text or video tutorials in any easily accessible format (i.e. jupyter notebook, website, docx/pptx, pdf, mp4, blog, etc…).

  • Do I have to have a paper submitted to MICCAI to submit to the MICCAI Educational Challenge? No, everyone is welcome and encouraged to submit to the MEC.

  • Does the submission have to be anonymized? This is optional and helpful to the organizers, but not required.

  • Do I have to be a student to submit? No, submissions are welcome from all, regardless of experience level. We only suggest that you write your submissions at a level that could be understood by a grad student trying to learn more about your topic.
