The 13th International Conference on Digital Image Processing (ICDIP 2021) will be held in Singapore during May 20-23, 2021.Since 2009, ICDIP has been successfully held 12 editions in various locations, including Bangkok, Singapore, Beijing, Athens, Los Angeles etc. It is one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of Digital Image Processing.
ICDIP 2021 offers a rich program, including keynotes speeches, peer-reviewed paper presentations, panel discussion, round table discussion, city tour, etc. We are accepting paper submissions, poster presentation submissions, and listener registrations. OBJETIVOS
Las plantas generadoras con fuentes renovables presentan características propias de ubicación física, régimen de producción y dificultades de predicción de sus aportes. Sus innegables ventajas de facilitar el mejoramiento ambiental, relativa facilidad de implantación, menor mantenimiento y progresiva reducción de costos de producción, llevan a su creciente instalación en los sistemas eléctricos a nivel mundial.

Su integración a los sistemas eléctricos continúa siendo uno de los grandes desafíos para la operación y el control del suministro eléctrico. Esta incorporación tecnológica es compleja debido a la limitación de intercambios a través de conexiones internacionales, a la dispersión geográfica y de propiedad de las plantas de generación, a la variabilidad en la producción, las dificultades en predicción de aportes y la rápida introducción de nuevas tecnologías que actualmente transitan a un estado de madurez.

Dado el creciente uso de estas fuentes energéticas resulta indispensable avanzar en la adaptación tecnológica de los procesos de producción intermitentes, en el desarrollo de futuras interconexiones, en la mejora de la predictibilidad, en el desarrollo de nuevas estrategias de operación y en la redefinición de funciones y responsabilidades de los Centros de Control.

Al final del curso los participantes podrán analizar proyectos de integración de fuentes renovables, planificar las estrategias de operación y control garantizando la calidad de la potencia y la seguridad del suministro según estándares requeridos internacionalmente.

De manera específica se propone adquirir competencias tales como:

• Identificar las principales claves en el funcionamiento de plantas de generación basadas en energías renovables intermitentes.
• Comprender las principales soluciones tecnológicas basadas en electrónica de potencia utilizadas en procesos de conversión energética.
Identificar las dificultades de la integración a un sistema y proponer soluciones técnicas de modo que las energías intermitentes puedan tener cada vez más protagonismo en la cobertura de la demanda.

DESTINATARIOS
Ingenieros, técnicos e idóneos involucrados en los procesos de planificación, coordinación, supervisión, ejecución y ejecución de la instalación, operación y control de sistemas eléctricos que integren fuentes intermitentes de producción de energía eléctrica.
