WiCON 2020 will take place online due to safety concerns and travel restrictions caused by COVID-19. Although we will miss having everyone meet and connect in person, we feel strongly that knowledge exchange must continue, if not more so. That is why we have equipped our online conferences with live viewing with chat, virtual Q&A, and a multitude of other measures to provide you with a great experience. sCOPE

Building on the last decade’s success, the WiCON 2020 aims to tackle the aforementioned challenges of emerging wireless Internet communications, covering topics ranging from technology issues to new applications and test-bed developments, mainly focusing on next-generation wireless Internet, 5G, 6G, IoT, Industrial IoT, Healthcare IoT, and related methodologies.

For the year 2021, EAI is offering the opportunity to organize AFRICATEK 2021 – 4th EAI International Conference
on Emerging Technologies for Developing Countries.

As one of the largest online community-based professional societies and the only one with free membership, EAI reaches to people around the world in 161 countries. EAI annually supports 150+ conferences worldwide co-published with Springer, with proceedings included in the LNICST series and submitted for inclusion in all leading indexing services.

EAI Conference Chairs receive EAI membership benefits and unique EAI public recognition based on objective member evaluation (EAI Index). In support of the conference, EAI offers advanced management tool, including unbiased community review, and global dissemination.

Individuals working in the field and interested to act as General Chair of the next edition of the conference can apply to conferences@eai.eu. Candidates will be evaluated and informed about the decision within two weeks of their application.

Estimados Miembros IEEE:

 

El IEEE Young Professionals del Consejo de Centroamérica y Panamá (CAPANA), en colaboración con Sección Perú del IEEE, el Capítulo de la Sociedad de Potencia y Energía (PES) de la Sección Gainesville (R3) y de diferentes Secciones profesionales de las Regiones R3, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9 y R10 te invitan a participar en el “Ciclo de Conferencias Virtuales”, a desarrollarse durante los meses de julio, agosto, septiembre y octubre de 2020.

 

Han sido invitados trece (13) distinguidos conferencistas latinoamericanos (6 hondureños, 2 ecuatorianos, 1 méxicano, 1 peruano, 1 argentino, 1 venezolano y 1 colombiano) que cuentan con muchos años de experiencia en la Academia y en la Industria Eléctrica, tanto en América Latina como en Norte América, Europa, Australia y Asia.

 

Todas las videoconferenciaa son gratuitas y únicamente para miembros activos del IEEE.

 

Hoy diez (10) de julio se realizó la inauguración del ciclo de conferencias virtuales con la presentación magistral del Prof. Dr. Claudio Cañizares de la Universidad de Waterloo, Canadá, titulada “Energy Storage: Overview and Research.”
