OptiCity 2020 will take place online due to safety concerns and travel restrictions caused by COVID-19. Although we will miss having everyone meet and connect in person, we feel strongly that knowledge exchange must continue, if not more so. That is why we have equipped our online conferences with live viewing with chat, virtual Q&A, and a multitude of other measures to provide you with a great experience. All of this while making the registration for co-authors and non-authors completely free to give you the biggest possible audience. You can learn more about EAI’s online conferences here.

sCOPE

Based on the agreement that a Smart city is an urban area that integrates different types of communication protocols and electronic Internet of Things (IoT) sensors to fuse data and then, using big data mining in order to efficiently manage assets, resources and services in real time, this multidisciplinary conference aims at bringing together researchers in all fields of intelligent design and services optimization in smart cities discussing, through quality papers, all issues involved in an integral and holistic approach.

EAI is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation to ensure the safety, comfort and quality of experience for attendees and a successful course of the event in 2020.

EAI QSHINE is also welcoming submissions from authors who will be unable to attend the event in person due to restrictions caused by COVID-19. Accepted Authors will have the opportunity to present their paper online in an interactive virtual conference track
that will be live-streamed to the entire EAI Community.

In case the situation prevents the event from taking place in its original location, it will be held fully in an interactive, live online setting. In both cases, all matters related to publication and indexing will remain unchanged.

Accepted Authors will be notified about the final decision regarding the conference format before the Camera-ready deadline.

sCOPE

Computer networking has been embracing increased heterogeneity since its inception, in terms of the range of the applications it has to support, the various communication technologies it can run on, and the hierarchical, hybrid and heterogeneous techniques it has to rely on to meet the challenges from both the diverse application requirements and communication technologies.

Qshine has been established as the primary venue for researchers and practitioners to disseminate exchange and discuss all recent advances related to heterogeneous networking, particularly for quality, experience, reliability, security and robustness.

For the year 2021, EAI is offering the opportunity to organize the GAMENETS 2021 conference.

As one of the largest online community-based professional societies and the only one with free membership, EAI reaches to people around the world in 161 countries. EAI annually supports 150+ conferences worldwide co-published with Springer, with proceedings included in the LNICST series and submitted for inclusion in all leading indexing services.

EAI Conference Chairs receive EAI membership benefits and unique EAI public recognition based on objective member evaluation (EAI Index). In support of the conference, EAI offers advanced management tool, including unbiased community review, and global dissemination.

Individuals working in the field and interested to act as General Chair of the next edition of the conference can apply to conferences@eai.eu. Candidates will be evaluated and informed about the decision within two weeks of their application.

SCOPE

Artificial intelligence has undergone enormous developments in recent years and is rapidly finding its way into medicine. AI is becoming relevant for all areas, from prevention to diagnostics and therapy, rehabilitation and care. First clinical applications exist already, but there are still many research questions to be solved for a broad deployment.

In view of the current situation around COVID-19, the organizers would like to use the chance arising from this crisis and make MedAI 2020 an important forum for the discussion of AI approaches to fight the pandemic.

EAI MedAI 2020 therefore invites researchers to submit papers that strengthen the continuing effort to bring AI into medical application, with a specific emphasis on approaches to fight COVID-19. Submissions should be in English, following the Springer formatting guidelines (see Submission).

Smart Mobility has the challenge of making travel more efficient and safer. Despite the advances that have been made in recent years, it is still an unresolved issue. Transportation systems are very complex because they involve humans, vehicles, information technologies and physical infrastructure.

The objective of this conference is that researchers can share their achievements, raise their ideas and projects and establish collaborations about Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for Smart Mobility.
