August 2 – 4, 2019 | Bahir Dar, Ethiopia Early Registration: June 10, 2019
Scope
Advances in science and technology are the key drivers and powerhouse of economic developments. Technological developments are currently playing a remarkable contribution in the life of modern society, and scientific knowledge becomes more impactful across numerous domains of society than any time ever. In line with this, Bahair Dar Institute of Technology (BiT) is organizing the seventh International Conference on Advancements of Science and Technology (ICAST).
The conference will be held on August 2-4, 2019 in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.ICAST 2019 provides a comprehensive platform for scientists, researchers in the academia and institutes, and experts from the industry to present the latest technological advancements, research findings, innovations, and applications in all aspects of science and technology.
The aim of CROWNCOM 2019 is to bring together researchers and experts from academia, industry, standards, and policy to present their new solutions of how cognitive radio systems will help deliver the required stringent requirements of future 5G and beyond 5G networks. Following the success of last edition, the main scope of this event is on new application domains for the cognitive-based solutions in the context of 5G and beyond. In particular we will concentrate on science and industry drivers such as machine learning and big data analysis in future wireless networks.
CROWNCOM 2019 will encompass a large scope of research topic also covering IoT in 5G and how cognitive mechanisms shall help leveraging access for billions of devices ; mmWave and how specific propagation and operation in these bands bring new sharing mechanisms ; how resource allocation amongst bands (including offload mechanisms) shall be solved. The key focus will be on how can rich data analysis improve the delivery of above defined services.
This tutorial will shed light on the challenges, solutions and technologies, and enabling tools focusing on opensource tools to realize network slicing with data-driven control in 5G leveraging machine learning (ML) techniques. Particularly, the tutorial will also rely on concrete prototypes and solutions with alternative RAN slicing and control approaches to assess how the performance guarantee and isolation properties are provided to each slice and how the runtime control is used to optimize the network and service objectives.
Wireless Internet is quickly developing to become a reality due to the fast evolution of various wireless access technologies. The merging of heterogeneous wireless networks and the next generation Internet more bring the wireless Internet into a variety of application scenarios which provide mobile users with a wide range of extremely demanding services, such as high-speed data and real-time multimedia delivery. On the other hand, it is of vital importance to achieve an essential understanding of wireless Internet architectures and explore new services and solutions in order to achieve the ultimate goal of wireless Internet access anytime anywhere. WiCON 2019 will continue to serve as a premier international conference to discuss novel research results related to the emerging wireless internet.
The focus of WiCON 2019 will be on advanced wireless access technologies, wireless mesh networks, interworking of heterogeneous networks, next-generation wireless internet, 5G technology, Internet of Things, Healthcare Internet of Things and Industrial Internet of Things practice methodology. WiCON attendees will present novel ideas, exchange points of view, and foster collaborations. Papers, posters, and demos expressing the point of view of middleware and platform providers, smart object providers, application developers, and researchers are particularly welcome.
We are pleased to invite you to submit your paper to WiCON 2019. They should follow the Springer formatting guidelines (see Initial Submission).
For the first time ever, authors submitting to the WiCON conference can harness the power of the EAI Community and get a multitude of exclusive benefits:
– Granting you visibility and fair review through Community Review – Credits counting towards your EAI Index, membership ranks and global recognition, – Real-time evaluation of your presentation on-site via EAI's Mobile Compass.
