Este año la Escuela de Ciencias Informáticas (ECI) tendrá entre sus cursos un track especial de Seguridad Informática.
La Seguridad Informática y la Criptografía convergen en una disciplina que adquiere, día a día, mayor protagonismo en diferentes instituciones públicas y privadas. En este contexto, los profesionales y estudiantes se enfrentan a situaciones nuevas que exigen conocimientos y metodologías innovadoras.
Este track sobre Ciberseguridad y Criptografía resulta una oportunidad única para adquirir conocimientos del estado del arte, de la mano de renombrados expertos internacionales tanto de la Academia como la Industria. Entendiendo el perfil de los interesados en esta temática, este track se prolongará por dos semanas en horario vespertino.

"Criptografía Moderna", Hugo Krawczyk (IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, USA); Juan A. Garay (Texas A&M University, USA); Yuval Ishai (Israel Institute of Technology, Israel); Vassilis Zikas (University of Edinburgh, Gran Bretaña). Idioma: inglés y español.
Se otorgará certificado de asistencia concurriendo al 80% de las clases. El certificado de aprobación estará sujeto a una evaluación final cuya modalidad es elegida por cada profesor y se informa al comienzo de cada curso.
INSCRIPCIÓN
La inscripción a los cursos se realiza hasta el 20 de julio. La inscripción es obligatoria para todas las categorías, los cupos son limitados y la vacante se reserva con el pago del arancel.
Los alumnos que se anoten y luego no asistan a los cursos sin presentar justificativo válido, perderán la posibilidad de gratuidad para futuras ediciones de la ECI.

Daniela Lopez de Luise The 2018 IEEE Colombian Conference on Robotics and Automation (CCRA 2018) is the second edition of the biannual technical summit related to robotics and automation organized by the IEEE RAS Colombian chapter. CCRA 2018 will be held in Barranquilla; Atlantico; Colombia; on November 1-3; 2018; with the support of the IEEE Caribbean Colombian Subsection and the IEEE Colombian Section. The venue for CCRA 2018 is Universidad del Norte.
CCRA's objective is to gather academic and industrial community of robotics and automation to discuss advances in the fields and related areas; such as control engineering; and to discuss how to transfer this knowledge into the society.
As part of CCRA 2018; the event will include a Doctoral Symposium were current research in the areas of the conference will be presented by doctoral students; in order to show ongoing innovations in the scholar community and discuss its potential impact in industry.

– Paper Contributions
IEEE CCRA 2018 seeks for English written high-quality papers presenting original results in all areas of robotics; automation; and related fields such as machine learning; computer vision and control engineering. Spanish written contributions can be submitted but will not be published by IEEE. All submissions should use the IEEE Transaction; letter size format; with a maximum of 6 pages including references and figures. The template can be found in http://ieeeauthorcenter.ieee.

The CCRA 2018 conference proceedings will be submitted to the IEEE Xploreu00AE digital library. Previous editions of CCRA proceedings can be consulted in this link. The purpose of the International Conference on Operations Research and Enterprise Systems (ICORES) is to bring together researchers, engineers, faculty, and practitioners interested in both theoretical advances and practical applications in the field of operations research.
