CALL FOR PROPOSAL OF NEW TOPICS (DEADLINE JUNE 17)

The Argentine Conference on Electronics is a high technical quality forum for researchers and technologists in the field of electronic and associated technologies, that arises as a spin off of the Argentine School of Microelectronics. In the first edition, papers will be accepted in the following topics:

  • Micro/Nano Electronics
  • Devices
  • Implantable Electronics
  • Power Electronics
  • Signal Processing and Filtering
  • Space and Nuclear Applications

Other topics can be proposed and are encouraged to widen the scope of the conference. Proposals should be written by 2 researchers with a proven record of quality publications in their fields, and shall be submitted together with their CV's. The proposals will be evaluated by the Academic Committee of the conference.

REGULAR papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore. A selection of the best papers will be invited to submit an extended version to the International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications (Wiley).

  • Deadline for submission of papers: SEPTEMBER 5, 2018
  • Notification of acceptance: OCTOBER 28, 2018

ADVANCED STUDENT AND PHD (S-PHD) FORUM

The SPhD Forum gives an opportunity to advanced students, PhD students and recent graduates to present their work in the event. Prospective authors should submit a 4 page summary paper of their work. Papers will be evaluated by a committee and accepted works will be presented in poster format. Participants of the S-PhD forum will have priority in the allocation of grants. SPhD papers will be available online at the conference website.

ECI 2018-Por favor difundir

Te invitamos a postularte a las becas de ayuda económica de la Escuela de Ciencias Informáticas 2018.

A partir del apoyo recibido de nuestros auspiciantes, la ECI ofrece becas con el objetivo de financiar gastos. El período para presentar solicitudes está abierto desde el 23 de Mayo y hasta el 15 de Junio inclusive. Los beneficiados serán notificados notificados del resultado vía e-mail el 22 de junio de 2018.

Este año hay 2 programas de Becas:

1)Becas de Ayuda al Traslado

Esta modalidad de becas incluye una ayuda para el traslado y la inscripción a la ECI. El monto es estimado en base a la distancia hasta Buenos Aires (equivale a un pasaje en ómnibus hasta Buenos Aires). En caso de otorgamiento, en el momento de asignar la beca, se comunica el monto asignado de acuerdo al lugar de procedencia del estudiante.
Los beneficiarios de la beca se comprometen a realizar dos cursos a seleccionar al momento de la inscripción de la ECI (según art. 10 del reglamento, los beneficiarios deberán presentar al momento del cobro una fotocopia del documento de identidad y un certificado de alumno regular que acredite su condición).

2)Becas “ECI + Futuro de investigación en el DC”

Este programa se abre por primera vez en la edición 2018 con el propósito de convocar a estudiantes que se encuentren terminando su carrera de grado (estén dentro de los últimos tres cuatrimestres de cursada). El objetivo es que puedan conocer el Departamento de Computación (DC) y a sus profesores con vistas a realizar un doctorado en el futuro.

  • ¿Cuál es el objetivo/beneficio y qué cubre este Programa? Entender qué significa hacer un doctorado y encontrar un grupo de investigación con un tema de interés. Este programa servirá también como base para poder presentarse a una beca de doctorado dentro de los distintos llamados que surjan de aquí en adelante (universidades, CONICET, etc). Los estudiantes que apliquen a este programa deberán tener un interés en las actividades de investigación (si hacer un doctorado no está en tus planes, entonces no apliques). Este programa financia el traslado completo en ómnibus, cubre la inscripción a la ECI y colabora con la estadía diaria. El monto de la ayuda se comunicará junto con la aceptación al programa.
  • ¿A quien está destinado?  Estudiantes de Grado dentro del año y medio final de cursada o Graduados recientemente recibidos. Se pedirá algún aval de autoridad que indique que se encuentra en esta situación.
  • ¿Qué se solicita a los interesados?

          -Cursar normalmente las dos semanas de la ECI. Se le pide dos cursos a elección durante la primer semana y el curso de Criptografía Moderna durante

            la segunda semana.

          -Elegir tres profesores del DC (entre los que aceptaron participar del programa) de acuerdo a la temática de interés de cada uno y la que expresen

            los docentes.

          -Entrevistarse con los profesores en el DC, en la semana del 30 de julio al 3 de agosto.
