submit your abstract in the Polymer World Congress 2018

We would like to invite you to submit your abstract in the Polymers – Wastes and Environmental Technology session of Polymer World Congress (PWC, www.pwc18.iaamevents.org). PWC will be held in the city of Nobel Prize, Stockholm, Sweden during 03 – 06 September 2018. The PWC 2018 is intended to provide an opportunity to get together, to exchange information and ideas, to promote stimulus discussions and collaborations among participants and furthermore to foster young researchers and students of cross-disciplinary areas ranging from about polymer science and its advances topics including Polymer Material Science and Engineering, Polymer Chemistry and Physics, Advanced Polymer Structures, Polymeric Composite Materials, Polymer Nanotechnology, Role of Polymers in the Biological Systems, Polymers in Water and Environmental Technology, Applications of Polymers, and Translational Research of Polymers. We solicit your advice, recommendations and supports for the grand success of this congress. Please send us your consent by 11 May 2018 using the YES* or NO options:

YES I will present my work and submit abstract in the Polymer World Congress 2018 within the deadline

NO I am unable to attend the Polymer World Congress 2018

*Please don’t click ‘Yes’ option if you are not intent to attend the congress.

The abstract submission deadline is 15 May 2018. Abstract Template is available on http://www.pwc18.iaamevents.org/pages/call-for-abstracts

The conference will be host on the Conference Centre, M/S Mariella, Viking Line Cruise ship cruising from Stockholm (Sweden) – Helsinki (Finland) – Stockholm (Sweden) during 03 – 06 September 2018. The conference will bring an amazing experience of cruise hospitality and visit two capital cities of Scandinavia, with allusion of the beautiful views of Stockholm archipelago (sailing through nearly 30,000 islands) in the autumn. For more information, please visit, www.pwc18.iaamevents.org

We look forward to receiving your response.

Disaster & Emergency Management is a critical concern for all sectors – all levels of government, global organizations (e.g., the United Nations and its various agencies), non-governmental organizations, and manufacturing and service industries. The recent groundbreaking rise of Industry 4.0 technologies and solutions has given rise to a new human-computer interaction technology that allows actual users to experience a high sense of perception and immersion for training purposes as well as to be supported in decision-making and policy formation.

Novel contributions on Disaster and Emergency Management are welcome, including:

•     Disaster Prevention or Mitigation,

•     Emergency Response,

•     Safety Engineering,

•     Industry 4.0,

•     Industrial Engineering,

•     Modeling & Simulation,

•     Geographic Information Systems,

•     Decision Support Systems,

•     Virtual and Augmented Reality,

•     Training Systems,

•     Human Behavior in Emergencies,

•     Policy/Strategy Formulation

•     Decision Making

Submission Process:

Please prepare the manuscript according to IEEE-TEM’s guidelines and submit to the journal’s Manuscript Central site (https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/tem-ieee). Please clearly state in the cover letter that the submission is for this special issue.

CMMSE2018 special sesion

CALL FOR PAPERS (with apologies for cross posting)

CMMSE 2018: 18th International Conference on Mathematical Methods in Science and Engineering
July 9-14, 2018, Barceloì Costa Ballena Golf & SPA. Rota, Cadiz – Spain.
http://cmmse.usal.es/cmmse2018/

Dear Colleague:

We have the pleasure to invite you to participate and submit a contribution to the Special Session "Processing, modelling, and describing time series".

Time series are present in many common situations in life. For such reason, there is a great effort on research of this topic. Sometimes time series are treated directly as raw data using mathematical methods to obtain information from then. But, other approaches develop mathematical models to represent then. Time series are modelled to find patterns and/or to study trends in the series. These representations allow to find patterns and trends. Another relevant line of research is the description of the series using natural language. The aim of this special session is to provide an international forum the presentation of recent results in the research of this field.

A non-exhaustive list of topics includes:

Methods for processing time series represented as raw data
Structures to represent time series
Efficient modelling of time series
Querying time series
Linguistic description of time series

The final version of the highest quality papers presented at the conference will be selected for publication in a special issue of a ISI impacted journal. The following journals have agreed to consider publishing special issues provided there are enough qualified papers:

Journal of Mathematical Chemistry, (Springer).
Journal of Supercomputing, (Springer).
Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences , (John Wiley & Sons).
Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, (Elsevier)
International Journal of Computer Mathematics, (Taylor & Francis).
Fullerenes, Nanotubes and Carbon Nanostructures, (Taylor & Francis).
Journal on Intelligent Industrial Systems, (Springer).

Organizers:

Juan Moreno-García, University of Castilla-La Mancha, Toledo, Spain. juan.moreno@uclm.es
Luis Rodriguez-Benitez, University of Castilla-La Mancha, Ciudad Real, Spain. luis.rodriguez@uclm.es

Important Dates:

May 10 — Deadline for submission of Abstracts (3-4 pages) or full papers (12 pages).
May 17 — Notification of Acceptance
June 1 –- Registration (with podium)
June 10 — Registration (without podium)
