OUR CONFERENCE EECS: The 2017 European Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computer
Science (EECS) will be held in Bern, Switzerland during November 17-19, 2017 and will be
composed by Special Sessions and Symposia. EECS aims to be the leading international
conference for presenting novel and fundamental advancements in the fields of Electrical
Engineering and Computer Science. EECS features invited keynotes as well as peer-reviewed
paper presentations. The conference is completely open (one needs to register first), you
will not have to be an author or a discussant to attend. Submissions will be peer
reviewed and evaluated based on originality, relevance to conference, contributions, and
presentation.
Proposals for Plenary Speeches and for Special Sessions could be sent to
eecs.conference@gmail.com for evaluation.
The Proposals must be accompanied by a Short CV including the academic URL
of the potential plenary speakers and/or special session organizers
Priority will be given to proposals that will be sent until July 31, 2017

Call for Abstracts
The aim of the BAFI 2018 conference is to bring together researchers and developers from data science and related areas with practitioners and consultants applying the respective techniques in different business-related domains. Our goal is to stimulate an academic exchange of recent developments as well as to encourage the mutual influence between academics and practitioners.
At BAFI 2018, the focus will be on methodological developments aimed at uncovering information contained in large data sets, as well as on business applications in various sectors, among them finance, retail, and telecommunications.

Authors are requested to submit a 600 word abstract in English.
All accepted abstracts will be published in an ISSN-indexed conference proceeding that will be available at BAFI 2018.
After the conference, authors of best presentations will be invited to submit their original work to special issues of top-level journals.
STUDENT GRANTS
We will offer a number of travel grants for students who present their work at BAFI 2018. The following two categories will be considered:
+ National category: students enrolled at a Chilean university or staying at a Chilean address at the time of the conference.
+ International category: students enrolled at a university outside Chile and staying abroad prior to the start of the conference.
