CONVOCATORIA

Welcome!

The SLALM (Simposio Latinoamericano de Lógica Matemática) was conceived in the late 1960′s by Abraham Robinson, who at the time was President of the Association for Symbolic Logic (ASL).

The first SLALM was organized by Rolando Chuaqui in Santiago, Chile, in 1970. It included two-week minicourses followed by a week-long conference. The minicourses were taught by A. Lévi (The Hebrew University), R. Sikorski (Warsaw), and J. R. Schoenfield (Duke).

Subsequent SLALM’s have been held in Brasilia, Brazil (1972), Campinas, Brazil (1976), Santiago, Chile (1978), Bogotá, Colombia (1981), Caracas, Venezuela (1983), Campinas, Brazil (1985), Paraíba, Brazil (1989), Bahía Blanca, Argentina (1992), Bogotá, Colombia (1995), Mérida, Venezuela (1998), San José, Costa Rica (2004), Oaxaca, Mexico (2006), and Paraty, Brazil (2008).

CDMP Certification Program

The CDMP-Certified Data Management Professional program is designed for experienced professionals
working for the last 2-5 years or more in Business, Computing, Data Management, DataBase Administration
and Business Intelligence in mid-size to large companies. Computing Professionals may also be interested
in attaining the CCP-Certified Computing Professional designation.  Students may attend to qualify for the
Associate Computing Professional (ACP) designation.  All ICCP professional credentials are offered world-wide
and useful in working for or seeking work with multinational companies.
When you advertise it you must use the exact wording I use here in quotes since we are not allowed by our
ICCP partner TDWI who own the CBIP to market the CBIP program directly.

“Our Data Management study and testing program will allow a person to complete their CDMP and at the
same time qualify for their CBIP – Certified Business Intelligence Professional.
This course is an examinations preparation course with each person taking at least one exam on each day of
the course lasting 3 days long.  Each of the three days will cover the subject matter in detail through discussion
of sample questions which will allow us to understand the subject areas and how to answer questions in order
to pass the exam.  If you pay your fees and attend this inaugural workshop, you will be able to take each exam
first and pay if you pass that examination towards qualifying for the ACP, CCP, CDMP & CBIP credentials. This
is a once in a lifetime opportunity – normally you would have to pay your fees US$285 per exam, up front before
you can sit for the exam.

  • Convenios (CACE – Polo IT Buenos Aires – CESSI – Universdad de Palermo) > $1.100.-
  • Estudiantes > $1.300.-
  • Público en general > $1.500.-

Costo por examen (opcional): U$S 285
