SECOND CALL FOR PAPERS
Continuing in a successful tradition, the Eleventh Annual Bayesian Modeling Applications Workshop will provide an informal forum for exchange among applications practitioners, tool developers, and researchers. The following list of topics is intended to be suggestive and not exhaustive:
* Learning and inference with graphical models;
* Data processing, transformation, fusion, visualization, of many different types of data;
* Combining machine learning and elicitation of expert knowledge;
* Tractable, scalable computational methods for complex models;
* Parallel computing, cloud computing, distributed computing;
* Recommendation systems, and link prediction under uncertainty;
* Handling of missing data, incomplete data, non-identifiable parameterizations;
* Data mining and knowledge discovery using social network data, mobile applications;
* Geospatial and temporal reasoning;
* Coping with very large, heterogeneous, unstructured data sets;
* Distributing customized advertisement by features, impressions.
The workshop is not restricted to a particular vertical market or discipline. Instead, the workshop encourages inter-disciplinary collaboration and cross fertilization. Final workshop papers will be selected with the goal of fostering discussion of critical issues within the community of practice.
Submissions will be peer reviewed and papers will be published online. Authors who wish to withhold their paper from publication (either because it contains references to proprietary data, or because they wish to publish it later at a different venue) can request that only the abstract be published.

Modalidad: Mediante Videoconferencias en Vivo con el Profesor. Si el alumno no puede presenciar (virtualmente) la clase, al día siguiente recibirá un link con la Clase Grabada para que la vea las veces que lo desee.
Objetivos del curso: El Curso de “Testing con Base de Datos” fue pensado para todas las personas que quieren incursionar en el maravilloso mundo del testing y pueden o no tener conocimientos tanto de testing como de base de datos. Para la tranquilidad de quienes lo realicen, podrán estar todo el tiempo comunicados con un tutor quien los guiará y eliminará cualquier duda que pudiera surgir tanto durante el dictado del mismo como durante la ejercitación. El curso consta de una parte teórica y una parte práctica, donde el alumno podrá volcar todos los conocimientos aprendidos durante la clase, permitiéndole de esta manera ir tomando experiencia. También les permitirá aplicar conocimientos en su trabajo, en la facultad, en su propia empresa o donde considere. Contenido
Para finalizar el curso, el alumno deberá presentar un Trabajo Final Integrador donde deberá aplicar todos los conocimientos aprendidos durante el curso.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The ALIO/EURO Workshop on Applied Combinatorial Optimization series is a
triennial event jointly promoted by the Association of
Latin-Iberoamerican Operational Research Societies (ALIO) and the
Association of European Operational Research Societies (EURO), both
within the International Federation of Operational Research Societies
(IFORS).
The main purpose of the event is to bring together Latin American and
European researchers and to stimulate activities and discussions about
methods and applications in the field of combinatorial optimization.
Researchers from other regions worldwide are also welcome. Previous
editions of the ALIO/EURO Workshop on Applied Combinatorial Optimization
were held in:
– Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (1989)
– Valparaiso, Chile (1996)
– Erice, Italy (1999)
– Pucon, Chile (2002)
– Paris, France (2005)
– Buenos Aires, Argentina (2008)

The 2014 edition of the workshop is organized by the Operations Research
Department of the Computer Science Institute, Faculty of Engineering,
