Scope & Topics: IMTA-X-2026 focuses on methodological advances and mathematical techniques for automating image mining. We welcome submissions in domains including, but not limited to:

Submission & dual publication:
- Papers must be submitted in English via CMT: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/IMTA2026
- Papers should be between 6 and 15 pages, formatted according to Springer LNCS guidelines.
A dual publication has been put in place, where authors can participate in both of the following tracks sequentially:
- Workshop Proceedings (LNCS): Accepted full papers will be published electronically in the official ICPR Workshop Proceedings via the Springer LNCS series. (See our previous LNCS proceedings here: https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-031-78107-0).
- Journal Special Issue (PRIA): We plan to select accepted papers (provided they are of considerable length and have high potential for extension) for publication in a dedicated volume of the peer-reviewed journal Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis (PRIA, Springer, Scopus Q3).
