Call for chapters: Robotics and AI in Extreme Environments (Springer)
March 5th, 2024
Daniela Lopez de Luise The book aims to bring together cutting-edge research dedicated to the development and deployment of Robots and/or AIS operating in Extreme Conditions, such as Nuclear Inspection and Decommissioning, Space Exploration, Deep Mining, Offshore Energy and Maintenance, and other contexts that by their nature constitute unstructured hazardous environments highly damaging to the physical and/or psychological health of those acting/interacting there.
We would like to bring together case studies addressing extreme environmental challenges, providing, this way, multidisciplinary insights that contribute to the design of artificial architectures and their efficient performance.
