Como cada año la biblioteca de la FRCU, invita a toda la comunidad, a participar de la Semana Internacional de Acceso Abierto que será entre el lunes 23 y el viernes 29 de octubre.

¿De qué se trata?
La Semana Internacional de Acceso Abierto es una semana de acción global, manejada por la comunidad, para abrir el acceso a la investigación y a la información.
Desde 2015, en FRCU se conmemora la Semana Internacional de Acceso Abierto, con el fin de difundir el movimiento a toda la comunidad universitaria.
En FRCU se encuentra incorporada al calendario académico para su celebración. A nivel mundial, se celebra la cuarta semana de octubre. Este año del 23 y 29 de octubre.

“La comunidad frente a la comercialización”
Este tema fomenta una conversación honesta sobre los enfoques de la ciencia abierta que priorizan los mejores intereses del público y de la comunidad académica, y los que no lo hacen.
La Semana del Acceso Abierto es una oportunidad muy valiosa para conectar el impulso global hacia el intercambio abierto de conocimientos con el avance de los cambios políticos y la importancia de las cuestiones sociales que afectan a las personas de todo el mundo. El evento es celebrado por individuos, instituciones y organizaciones de todo el mundo, y su organización está dirigida por un comité asesor global.

Professor Elisa Ricci will deliver the e-lecture: “The Unreasonable Effectiveness of Large Language-Vision Models for Video Domain Adaptation” on October 24th, 2023  17:00 CET.
She is an Associate Professor at Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) at the University of Trento and the head of the Deep Visual Learning research group at Fondazione Bruno Kessler. She has published over 160 papers on international venues. Her research interests are mainly in the areas of computer vision, robotic perception and multimedia analysis. At UNITN she is the Coordinator of the Doctoral Programme in Information Engineering and Computer Science. She is an Associate Editor of IEEE Trans. on Multimedia, Computer Vision and Image Understanding and Pattern Recognition. She is/was the Program Chair of ECCV 2024, ACM MM 2020 and the Diversity Chair of ACM MM 2022. She is the recipient of the ACM MM 2015 Best Paper award and ICCV 2021 Honorable mention award.
