Besides this, participants will also be enlightened about vast avenues, current and emerging technological developments in the field of ICT in this era and its applications, will be thoroughly explored and discussed.

Te paso además un breve resumen del proyecto en que estamos trabajando:

El objetivo del proyecto es enaltecer el valor de una perspectiva de derechos humanos en la creación de estándares técnicos, de manera de garantizar, por un lado, el ejercicio de los derechos fundamentales de las personas, y crear, por el otro, tecnología comprometida con una lógica de inclusión y acceso equitativo. Encontramos importante evaluar los efectos de la generación de estándares técnicos sobre el ejercicio de derechos fundamentales para evitar sesgos, discriminación y dificultad de acceso.

Creemos que su colaboración puede ser sumamente valiosa para el desarrollo del proyecto, dada su expertise y conocimiento de trabajo técnico. Por eso, proponemos trabajar, en específico, sobre una de las actividades de incidencia e investigación, que implica la elaboración de un policy brief en conjunto con expertos técnicos basados en la Argentina. El objetivo del policy es identificar la potencialidad de los estándares técnicos para promover el ejercicio de los derechos humanos, en particular al respecto de los derechos de los niños, niñas y adolescentes.

Ciclo de conferencias sobre patología estructural

Organizado por el Capítulo Argentina de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Control de Calidad, Patología y Recuperación de la Construcción (ALCONPAT Argentina), se llevará a cabo un ciclo de conferencias sobre diversas patologías estructurales los días 5 y 6 de septiembre, bajo la modalidad virtual en la plataforma Zoom.

El ciclo de conferencias propuesto por el Capítulo Argentina de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Control de Calidad, Patología y Recuperación de la Construcción (ALCONPAT Argentina) “Patología Estructural”, incluirá tres disertantes nacionales y tres internacionales.

Esta temática entraña una serie de matices determinados tanto por la variedad de objetos construidos como por las permanentes transformaciones que sufren, derivados de agentes degradadores endógenos y/o exógenos, que operan en la esfera que reúne materiales y técnicas constructivas.

Las conferencias que integran el presente ciclo, desarrolladas por especialistas, pretenden dar cuenta de la problemática a través de diversas miradas académicas y profesionales, con el fin de caracterizar a través de concretas experiencias, el estado de la cuestión. Docentes e investigadores, profesionales, especialistas y estudiantes de grado y posgrado, pertenecientes a disciplinas afines, son los destinatarios del ciclo.

El evento tiene como objetivo principal exponer una serie de miradas, posiciones y experiencias sobre el  campo específico de las estructuras resistentes, el diagnóstico de su patología y reflexiones sobre la tecnología de recuperación.

El comité organizador del evento se encuentra conformado por docentes e investigadores de la Facultad de Ciencia Exactas, Físicas y Naturales y la Facultad de Arquitectura, Urbanismo y Diseño de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, de la Universidad Nacional del Sur, de la Universidad Católica de Córdoba, de la Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires y de las Facultades Regional Córdoba, Universidad Nacional de La Rioja y Mendoza de la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.

The fourth edition of the Latin America Microwave Conference (LAMC) will take place in San Jose, Costa Rica, on 6-8 December 2023, at the Wyndham Herradura Hotel and Convention Center. After three successful editions in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (2016), Arequipa, Peru (2018), and Cali, Colombia (2021, virtual), LAMC returns fully presential to San Jose as a high-quality technical forum for the Latin America Region and all the MTT-S community.

We encourage the submission of original, unpublished research focused on (but not limited to) the following topics of interest: passive components, circuits, and devices; active devices, circuits, and subsystems; RF systems and applications; active and passive antennas; signal-power integrity and high-speed digital techniques; and CAD techniques for RF and microwave engineering.
