The 26th edition of the Iberoamerican Congress on Pattern Recognition (CIARP) will be taking place in the beautiful city of Coimbra, on 27-30 November 2023.

IEEE Multimedia Signal Processing Deadline Extended to June 14 (MMSP)

The IEEE International Workshop on MultiMedia Signal Processing (MMSP 2023) will take place from September 27-29, 2023 in Poitiers (France) with a focal topic on the Multimedia signal processing in the Metaverse Era.
It is 25th in the series, organized by the Multimedia Signal Processing Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS), with the aim to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, passionate about multimedia signal processing, to share their knowledge, exchange ideas, explore future research directions and network.
Prospective authors are invited to submit regular and special session papers (full length, 4-6 pages), demo papers (1 page) and grand challenge contributions. Conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. Papers are solicited in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Image / video / audio processing and restoration
  • Multimedia communications and networking
  • Multimedia compression
  • Sound source localization andseparation
  • Multimedia quality assessment
  • Internet of Things (IoT)-basedmultimedia systems and applications

Sensors in Multimedia Forensics

This Special Issue aims to explore the role of sensor technologies in advancing the field of multimedia forensics. Accepted papers will showcase the latest research and developments in sensor-based approaches for multimedia analysis, processing, and authentication. Las jornadas son, como siempre, gratuitas; se publican los trabajos (completos o resúmenes) con ISBN y se otorgan certificados a ponentes y comentaristas; y se aceptan envíos de todos los actores de la comunidad (estudiantes, investigadores, profesionales), tanto de las ciencias sociales como de otras disciplinas. Este año las jornadas son presenciales, en la sede de Constitución (CABA).
