IEEE 2nd International Conference on Computing and Machine Intelligence (ICMI-21)

We would like to invite you to the IEEE 2nd International Conference on Computing and Machine Intelligence (ICMI-21), which aims to bring together researchers and professionals to exchange ideas on the advancement of Computing and Machine Intelligence and its applications in various fields. In this two-day conference, authors of regular papers and invited speakers will present cutting-edge development in the field.

We look forward to significant contributions to all major fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, soft computing, and related fields. The conference aims to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners from both academia as well as industry to meet and share their experience and knowledge. It provides opportunities for academicians and scientists along with professionals, policymakers, and practitioners from various fields in a global realm to present their research contributions and views on one forum and interact with members inside and outside their own particular disciplines.

Due to COVID-19, we have decided to make it a virtual conference following WHO recommendations to minimize the impact of the virus.

Editorial Message

With the beginning of the new year the editorship of our journal is transferred from the Founding Editor in Chief, Bilal M. Ayyub, to Michael Beer who was a Founding Associate Editor. Since its inauguration in 2014, our journal has emerged to a key outlet for high quality research publications in the area of risk and uncertainty in engineering. The incoming Editor in Chief would like to thank Bilal, on behalf of the entire editorial team, for his outstanding leadership having elevated the journal to its excellent current level. On this basis and with a smooth transition we are aiming at a continued steep success trajectory of our journal. The new Editor in Chief would like to express his highest gratitude to the editorial team and is anxiously looking forward to fruitful and exciting developments. Let us work on soliciting and submitting high impact research papers to both parts of the journal. We also encourage you to submit review or state-of-the art manuscripts and to propose Special Issues / Special Collections to embrace the developments on emerging topics. Let us exploit the great innovation potential bridging disciplines, which is particularly facilitated by our journal with its links from engineering to mathematics, computer science, economics, finance, humanities and further related disciplines.

Please contact the Editor or the Managing Editors by email if you have an interest to guest edit a special collection (Part A) or a special issue (Part B).
