**********************************************************
The Association for the Advancement of Affective Computing (AAAC) invites you to join us at our tenth International Conference on Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction (ACII), which will be held in Nara, Japan on October 18th – 21st, 2022.
The Conference series on Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction is the premier international forum for interdisciplinary research on the design of systems that can recognize, interpret, and simulate human emotions and related affective phenomena.
All accepted papers are expected to be included in IEEE Xplore (conditional to the approval by IEEE Computer Society) and indexed by EI. A selection of the best articles at ACII2021 will be invited to submit extended versions to IEEE’s Transactions on Affective Computing.
The theme of ACII 2022 is “Affective computing for mental and physical well-being”. The current Covid-19 pandemic and resulting societal changes (such as social isolation and work-from-home arrangements) have severely impacted mental and physical well-being. Thus, ACII 2022 especially welcomes submitted research that utilises Affective Computing to address these negative consequences on mental and physical well-being brought about by the current challenging circumstances.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
