Livestream Seminars in May

Statistical Horizons will host the below seminars:
  • Advanced Learning with R, taught by Ross Jacobucci, May 1-2, will provide you with the core knowledge needed to apply and evaluate advanced machine learning algorithms.
  • Applied Deep Learning with Python, taught by Ross Jacobucci, May 8-9, focuses on applying deep learning algorithms to text and image data, along with insight into how deep learning methodologies can shape the design of studies. For a $200 total discount when registering for both of Dr. Jacobucci's seminars, please email us.
  • Design and Analysis of Simulation Studies, taught by Ashley Naimi, May 20-23, is a practical introduction to Monte Carlo simulation studies. Through theory and hands-on practice, you'll deepen your statistical intuition and gain the skills necessary to plan, conduct, and interpret simulation studies.
  • Ordinal Regression, taught by Frank Harrell, May 29, will discuss the most popular types of ordinal regression models, the proportional odds model and the proportional hazards model. This seminar is part of the Distinguished Speaker Series, a series of 3-hour virtual seminars taught by some of the most prominent and innovative scholars in the field.
These livestream seminars will be held via Zoom, but you can also join asynchronously by viewing the recorded videos of each session.
