Workshops provide opportunities for focused discussions, exploration of new research directions, and community building. Special Sessions offer a focused forum on a dedicated topic as part of the conference's technical program.

Both are integrated into the main conference program. Accepted workshop and special session papers can be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library as part of the conference proceedings, subject to the required review process.
