The development of powerful deep learning technologies has also brought about some negative effects. One such issue is the emergence of deepfakes. While most work has focused on fake images and video alone, the multi-modal, audiovisual aspect is very important to both convincing generation and accurate detection of fake multimedia content. In addition to developing accurate and robust detection models, it is worthwhile to explore fake media generation methods as well. Content generation has many meaningful and beneficial applications, such as commercial ads, education, privacy protection, etc. Therefore, fake media generation constitutes an integral component of the proposed workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to provide a platform for researchers and engineers to share their ideas and approaches, and give some insights on fake media generation and detection to both academia and industry.

We invite submissions on a range of AI technologies and applications for media forensics domains. Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:

  • Fake image generation and/or detection
  • Fake voice generation and/or detection
  • Audiovisual Deepfakes and adversarial attacks
  • Audiovisual Deepfakes and Fairness and Ethics

SUBMISSION

A paper submission has to be in English, in pdf format, and at most 8 pages (excluding references) in ICCV style. The paper format must follow the same guidelines as for all ICCV submissions.

The review process is double blind. Authors do not know the names of the chair/reviewers of their papers. Reviewers do not know the names of the authors.
Dual submission is allowed with ICCV main conference only. If a paper is submitted also to ICCV and accepted, the paper cannot be published both at the ICCV and the workshop.

Special Sessions will be responsible for a reviewing process.

 

STUDENT PARTICIPATION

Student participation is highly encouraged, be it submitting and

presenting a paper, attending the conference, or volunteering at the

conference. The Program Committee will select the best student

papers prior to the conference. These papers will be presented at a

special session during the conference. The student author of the

best paper (based on both the written submission and the oral

presentation, to be selected during this session) will receive an

award.
