We would like to invite you to join the IEEE SSCI 2021. This is a call for special sessions (Deadline 28th May 2021), call for tutorials (Deadline 28th May 2021) and call for papers (Deadline 6th August 2021).

IEEE SSCI is an established flagship annual international series of symposia on computational intelligence sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society. IEEE SSCI 2021 promotes and stimulates discussion on the latest theory, algorithms, applications and emerging topics on computational intelligence across several unique symposia, providing an opportunity for cross-fertilization of research and future collaborations. IEEE SSCI 2021 will feature exciting keynotes, panel discussions, special sessions, tutorials and oral presentations.

We welcome your participation and contribution to the 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision (AICV’2021) which will be held in Morocco during June 28-30, 2021. AICV’2021 is organized by the Scientific Research Group in Egypt (SRGE) and the Computer, Networks, Mobility and Modeling Laboratory (IR2M), Hassan 1st University, Faculty of Sciences and Techniques, Settat, Morocco. AICV’2021 is organized to provide an international forum that brings together those actively involved in the areas of interest and reports on up-to-the-minute innovations and developments to summarize the state-of-the-art and to exchange ideas and advances in all aspects of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings published by Springer (Approved) in the series of “Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing” and abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago and Scopus.

== AIM AND SCOPE ==

 

The Program Committee of the 17th European Conference on Logics in

Artificial Intelligence (JELIA 2021) invites the submission of

technical papers for the conference that will be held in Klagenfurt,

Austria, from May 17th to May 20th, 2021, circumstances permitting.

The conference could also be held in a hybrid (physical presence and

online) or online-only mode, depending on the development of the

Covid-19 pandemic.

 

The aim of JELIA 2021 is to bring together active researchers

interested in all aspects concerning the use of logics in Artificial

Intelligence to discuss current research, results, problems, and

applications of both theoretical and practical nature. JELIA strives

to foster links and facilitate cross-fertilisation of ideas among

== SUBMISSION DETAILS ==

 

 

JELIA 2021 welcomes submissions of long or short papers in the following

categories:

 

Regular papers. Submissions should contain original research, and

sufficient detail to assess the merits and relevance of the contribution.

Submissions must not have been previously published or be simultaneously

submitted for publication elsewhere; see also the note below.

 

System/Application descriptions. Submissions should describe an

implemented system/application and its application area(s). A

demonstration should accompany a system/application presentation. Papers

describing systems or applications that have already been presented in

JELIA before will be accepted only if significant and clear enhancements

have been implemented and are properly reported.

 

All submissions should not exceed 13 pages for long papers and 6 pages

for short papers (excluding references, including everything else, for

example figures), and should be written in English. Submissions must be

formatted according to the standard Springer LNCS style, and are not

anonymous. The conference proceedings of JELIA 2021 will be

published by Springer Verlag in the series Lecture Notes in Artificial

Intelligence, a sub-series of Lecture Notes in Computer Science

(important note: Springer will require all the LaTeX source files of all

accepted submissions).

 

JELIA 2021 is happy to announce that there will be Best Paper and Best

Student Paper Prizes sponsored by Springer, each is a cash prize

amounting to EUR 500.

== POLICY ON MULTIPLE SUBMISSIONS ==

 

JELIA 2021 will not accept any paper that, at the time of submission, is

under review or has already been published or accepted for publication in

a journal or another conference. Authors are also required not to submit

their papers elsewhere during JELIA's review period. However, these

restrictions do not apply to previous workshops with a limited audience

and without archival proceedings.

Position Openings: Postdoctoral Fellows at the Computational Biomedicine Lab

Two postdoctoral positions are available from 1/2021 onwards (the latest start date is 6/2021) for an exciting collaborative project between the Computational Biomedicine Lab (CBL), University of Houston, and a leading research lab at the Texas Medical Center.

 

The position entails innovative research in the field of AI/ML with applications to Healthcare. The candidates will be part of a vibrant and pioneering team (scientists, clinicians, postdocs, graduate students). They will have the opportunity to develop and evaluate AI/ML methods applied to clinical problems. Highly motivated and creative individuals with a recent Ph.D., first-author publications, and a strong drive for research are encouraged to apply asap. To succeed in this position, the applicant needs to be goal-oriented, self-sufficient, and work independently and in groups in a fast-paced research environment. 

 

 

What we are looking for:
