Prof. Dragan Perakovic

achieved a Ph. D. in a field of technical sciences, the field of Technological Systems in Traffic and Transport. He is a full professor at the University of Zagreb at the faculty of transport and traffic sciences. Prof. Perakovic became an EAI member in 2016 and since then he has been diligently involved in roles such as Author, Reviewer, Program Chair, Publications Chair at EAI MMS conferences. The last three years, Prof. Perakovic also held the position of General Chair. He vigorously strengthens the EAI Community by gathering passionate people around MMS conference which received very positive reactions and feedback.

Low-carbon Emission Driven Traffic Speed Optimization for Internet of Vehicles

ICECI's Best Paper Award

was awarded to Wenjie Chen, Siming Zou, Zhende Xiao for Low-carbon Emission Driven Traffic Speed Optimization for the Internet of Vehicles. This paper, after studying and analyzing the influence of speed on vehicle CO2 emission, proposes a recommended speed calculation scheme based on IoV to obtain vehicle speed and traffic signal phase information, resulting in reduced total travel time, higher uninterrupted pass rates, and decreased vehicle fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Scope

After the success of the two previous conferences, the 3rd ICMTEL conference aims to deliver a forum for scientific reports and debates in the state-of-the-art and future perspectives of multimedia technologies and enhanced learning.

Multimedia technology applies interactive computer components, such as graphics, text, video, sound, and animation, to deliver a piece of information. On the other hand, enhanced learning originated from human education, and now its idea conceptually plays an important role in teaching computers to learn from multimedia data. This conference will not only focus on human education related learning but also on machine learning technologies.

We are pleased to invite you to submit your paper to ICMTEL 2021. Submissions should follow the Springer formatting guidelines (see Submission ).

    The “3rd International Workshop on Human Activity Detection in multi-camera, Continuous, long-duration Video (HADCV'21)” will focus on human activity detection in multi-camera video streams. The ability to detect human activities is an important task in computer vision due to its potentially wide range of applications.  In this  workshop we will present the research findings of the ActEV SDL Unknown Facility (UF) challenge. In addition, we are inviting the research community to submit unpublished research papers.

    Last Conference: ICICC-2020 was organized at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies in association with National Institute of Technology Patna and University of Valladolid, Spain on 21-23rd February 2020 at New Delhi, India. ICICC-2020 received 803 papers from approximately 3212 authors, and a total of 196 papers were accepted with an acceptance ratio of 24%. All accepted papers were published in Springer’s Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing, a Scopus indexed series. A total of 544 participants attended the conference, including authors, keynotes, delegates, academicians, and industry experts. ICICC-2020 received papers from 29 countries.

    Proceeding of ICICC 2020 is already online, and 26 extended paper has been accepted in SCI/Scopus indexed journals out of invited/submitted 45 papers till Aug 2020.
