In this workshop we are interested in submissions focused but not limited on low-level characteristics, either facial or related to the human body, aiming at understanding high-level concepts. We are also interested in applications leveraging this information, for user profiling or behavior understanding.The workshop also favours positive criticism of current works and encourages new perspectives on the matter. Moreover, as we are all living in a world where our personal data is used and often abused, we are also interested in privacy issues that arise when profiling users. Finally, we also promote the creation of new datasets for both facial micro-expressions and body behavior understanding. Submissions are invited from all areas of pattern recognition.

This conference will be one of the big International online-meetings exclusively dedicated to Blends, Composites, Bio-Composites and Nanocomposites. The conference will be extremely useful in the sense that it will be attended online by hundreds of Chemists, Physicists, Technologists and Engineers, making it a truly interdisciplinary conference. The goal of the conference emphasizes interdisciplinary research on processing, morphology, structure, properties and applications of blends, composites, nanocompostes, IPNs and Gels from macro to nano scales and their applications in medicine, automotive, civil, chemical, aerospace, computer and marine engineering.
This symposium will bring together a panel of highly-accomplished experts in the field. Talks will encompass basic studies and applications and will address topics of novel issues. During the three-day conference, we will listen to recognized authorities in the field as they discuss recent advances, difficulties, and breakthroughs in the field. The conference will feature keynote addresses, a number of plenary sessions, invited talks and contributed lectures focusing on specific tenets of blends, composites, nanocompostes, IPNs. Additionally, there will be several poster sessions, and four best poster presentations will be selected for the award.
In view of your excellent contributions to the field, we would like to welcome you to give an invited online talk at the conference. The scientific committee of the conference is aware of your published works in this field. We would appreciate if you could e-mail us a one-page abstract of the talk (in the MS Word format) at the earliest to the conference Email ID: composites@macromol.in (Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 1st October 2020 and Deadline for the submission of full paper is 1st October 2020). An appropriate title could be decided by you.

Brain Storming Discussion Meeting On Joint Projects and Collaborations (HORIZON 2020)
During the conference there will be a brain storming discussion meeting in order to submit a joint project proposals to European Union under the “HORIZON 2020” programme for funding between India, Europe and Rest of the world. We will also discuss other bilateral research progrmmes between DST, UGC, INSA and DBT of India and Rest of the world. Please note that DST of India has signed bilateral agreement with almost all the countries in the globe. These include DST-NSF, DST-DAAD, DST-DFG, DST-KBN, Indo-French (CEFIPRA), DST-NSF, DST- Australia, etc etc. This conference will act as a good platform to find partners for international research collaborations. El IEEE ARGENCON es el Congreso Bienal premium de la Sección Argentina del IEEE. Sus objetivos son difundir y exponer los resultados más recientes en investigación y desarrollo, de las diversas ramas de ingeniería que se reflejan en su Programa Técnico. Esta edición 2020 ha pasado a ser virtual, y abarcará cuatro días de presentaciones de trabajos, conferencias plenarias, talleres, paneles y sesiones cortas. Invitamos a toda la comunidad a enviar sus trabajos para el Congreso. Cada autor podrá enviar cualquier tipo de artículo aceptado en la Conferencia.
Invitamos a todos los investigadores y entusiastas a enviar videos para nuestro nuevo track de Videos Técnicos, mostrando su idea, prueba de tecnología o trabajo en progreso. Las presentaciones de video aceptadas se incluirán en el canal de Youtube de IEEE ARGENCON 2020, y serán indexadas en IEE Xplore.
Los envíos para el nuevo Track de Video Técnico deben ser videos con la intención de demostrar resultados preliminares, resultados de investigación consolidados, trabajos en progreso e investigaciones, o demostraciones técnicas. El tema de un video puede ser, por ejemplo, un área general o específica de uno de los 20 temas del Congreso, el trabajo de un investigador o grupo en particular (ustedes mismos u otros), o una aplicación concreta de una técnica dada. Un video puede referirse a trabajos con diferentes niveles de madurez: puede presentar algo nuevo e interesante, describiendo una investigación conocida pero en curso, o resumir un área o aplicación madura, mostrando su impacto en la sociedad.

Un tutorial es, conceptualmente, una clase donde los asistentes pueden sostener un alto grado de interacción con los expositores o responsables de la actividad. Idealmente, este tutorial debería cubrir la investigación, el desarrollo y las aplicaciones de última generación en una dirección específica dentro de un tema de nuestro programa técnico. Es deseable que estimule y facilite el trabajo futuro. Son altamente deseables los tutoriales con contenido interdisciplinario, en direcciones novedosas y de rápido crecimiento, y aplicaciones de importancia significativa.
Los talleres ofrecen la oportunidad de discutir temas novedosos en un ambientes relativamente pequeños e interactivos, donde prima la experiencia práctica por sobre los contenidos teóricos. Pueden concentrarse en temas de investigación, pero también pueden dedicarse a temas o problemas de aplicación, o a cuestiones relativas a los aspectos económicos y sociales, dependiendo del tema. Los talleres multidisciplinarios que reúnen a investigadores y profesionales de diferentes comunidades serán particularmente bienvenidos en esta edición.

IMPORTANTE: El sólo envío de este formulario con su propuesta, no es garantía alguna de su aceptación, ya que la misma debe someterse a un proceso de evaluación interna. Durante el mismo, los evaluadores se podrán comunicar con usted al email proporcionado en el formulario antedicho, por lo cual recomendamos que lo verifique con cierta frecuencia. La notificación de aceptación se le enviará también a dicha dirección de correo electrónico.
Los Organizadores le proporcionarán credenciales especiales para acceder a las herramientas de virtualización que se utilizarán para todas las actividades. Asimismo, un personal le será asignado para asistirlo técnicamente en la configuración y uso de dicho sistema, hasta la finalización del evento.
