The 19th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence: Methodology, Systems, Applications
Golden Sands resort, Varna, Bulgaria, 7-9th September, 2020
Initiated in 1984, the biennial Artificial Intelligence: Methodology, Systems, Applications (AIMSA) conference is a premier single-track forum for exchanging information and research results on theory and principles of artificial intelligence (AI) along with real-world applications of intelligent system technology. The conference traditionally brings together researchers and practitioners in all areas of AI from both the academia and industry to meet and share their ideas and experiences and learn about the recent trends and developments in contemporary AI.
The 19th edition of AIMSA will be held in the beautiful Golden Sands resort near Varna, Bulgaria. With its mild climate and excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, water sports and gastronomy, Golden Sands promise to be a wonderful venue for a memorable conference.
TOPICS
The conference welcomes submissions of original, high quality papers in all areas of Artificial Intelligence, including (but not limited to) traditional topics such as the algorithms, implementations and (or) real-world applications of knowledge discovery, data mining, machine learning, evolutionary computing, pattern recognition, search, reasoning, planning, natural language processing, intelligent agents, multiagent systems, robotics and sensing, etc.
All submissions will be subject to a single-blind academic peer review by at least two members of the program committee. Selection criteria include accuracy and originality of ideas, clarity and significance of results, and quality of presentation.
For each accepted paper, at least one author is required to register and attend the conference to present the paper.
The author(s) of the best paper (which will be selected based on the votes of the attendees) of the conference will receive the Best Paper Award during the conference.

Traditionally, the proceedings of AIMSA conference series are published by Springer in their Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence subline of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series. Extended versions of AIMSA 2020 selected papers will be published by MDPI, Switzerland, in a special issue of "Information" (ISSN 2078-2489) – an Open Access Journal of Information Science (SJR: 0.222).

Special session on Edge and Fog computing in
The 2020 IEEE 6th World Forum on The Internet of Things (WF-IoT 2020)
Call for papers:
IoT is the new revolution in the Internet in which objects, machines, humans, sensors, and the like are connected through the Internet technology. IoT has enabled the development of a vast number of applications (e-health, industry 4.0, smart-city, intelligent transportation system, etc). Nevertheless, IoT has created arduous challenges. In the legacy network, data are gathered and processed using cloud computing technology. However, the latency along with the power consumption and bandwidth scarcity has enabled the development of the Edge and Fog computing. Edge / Fog computing is a paradigm shift in which data are processed at the edge of the network. Edge/Fog computing not only brings benefits of Cloud computing but also supports unfit features for improving quality of services such as network bandwidth saving, latency reducing and energy efficiency. This special session is intended to discuss recent work in fog and edge computing. We are soliciting paper for following topics:

Scope and Aim
The special session is aimed to update the research community with the current challenges, recent progress, and future outlook related to robustness and trustworthiness issues in deep learning. The estimation of uncertainty or confidence in the predictive decisions is an integral part of a robust and trustworthy autonomous system — potential examples include medical diagnosis, security systems, self-driving, financial decision-making, and smart and connected cities. Currently, adversarial examples, i.e., inputs to machine learning models designed to cause the model to make a mistake, are limiting the wide-spread use of these models in real-world applications. Bayesian techniques may provide one way to introduce uncertainties in learning systems by defining probability distributions over unknown parameters and make these models robust to adversarial attacks. This special session will focus on uncertainty estimation, robustness, and trustworthiness techniques as applied to modern learning.
Topics Covered
The aim of the special session on "Robustness and Trustworthiness in Deep Learning" is to provide a forum for engineers, scientists, and researchers of this field to exchange the latest advances in theories and experiments. Researchers are invited to submit original and unpublished theoretical and experimental results in the following and related areas.
