Financiamiento: 3ª edición de los Premios Fundación MAPFRE a la Innovación Social

Estimados docentes e investigadores:

La Fundación MAPFRE lanza la 3ª edición de los Premios Fundación MAPFRE a la Innovación Social con la colaboración de Instituto de Empresa (IE) en su dimensión académica. Ambas organizaciones, que lideran globalmente sus áreas de expertise, unen en esta edición sus fuerzas para apoyar iniciativas innovadoras con gran potencial de impacto social. Juntas persiguen trabajar con las comunidades de innovadores sociales de las regiones geográficas de referencia para identificar aquellos proyectos con mayor capacidad de transformación social y darles un impulso diferenciador.

 

Quién puede presentarse: estudiantes de universidades y escuelas de negocios, científicos, investigadores y personal docente universitario, además de emprendedores con un proyecto innovador. Las regiones geográficas en torno a las que se estructuran los premios en esta tercera edición son Brasil, resto de América Latina y Europa.

 

El objetivo de los Premios Fundación MAPFRE a la Innovación Social es hacer posible el crecimiento de propuestas que por sus características resuelvan y mejoren aspectos concretos del mundo en el que vivimos. Dichos aspectos se centran en esta convocatoria en tres categorías:

 

1) Mejora de la salud y tecnología digital (e-Health).

2) Innovación aseguradora.

3) Movilidad sostenible y seguridad vial.

 

De todos los que se propongan en cada una de las tres regiones arriba identificadas se elegirán 9 proyectos (en total 3 en cada categoría, uno por cada una de las tres regiones) que serán presentados en una de las tres semifinales regionales (en función de la región en que participen), recibiendo los representantes de los proyectos semifinalistas el apoyo de un mentor y visibilidad de su proyecto en la región. Los 9 proyectos finalistas que resulten de las 3 semifinales, 3 por categoría, participarán en la gran final en Madrid para la que recibirán un plan de acompañamiento diseñado por IE, y serán objeto de difusión en perfiles sociales y medios de comunicación on y off line, entre otros soportes. Cada uno de los tres promotores de los proyectos ganadores (uno en cada categoría) recibirá un premio adicional en metálico de 30.000€ en los términos indicados en la base Novena.

Automatic Human Health Monitoring Based on Computer Vision has gained rapid scientific attention in the decade, fueled by a large number of research articles and commercial systems based on set of features, extracted from face and gesture.
